We stand behind the quality and durability of our Artemis products. All components are covered by the following warranties:
Artemis Dome/Pod Cover
The dome/pod cover is warranted for 2 years pro-rated (1 year for transparent cover) against defects in material and workmanship that prevent it from meeting our published specifications. This includes cracking, fraying, tearing, deteriorating or leaking that is not due to accident, abuse, alteration, exposure to harmful chemicals or failure to provide reasonable and necessary maintenance.
Dome/Pod Frame
The dome/pod plywood frame (including struts, connectors and hubs) is warranted for 2 years pro-rated against defects in material and workmanship that prevent the frame from meeting our published durability specifications. This includes fracturing, breaking, corroding or failing under normal use that is not the result of accident, abuse, alteration, exposure to harmful elements or failure to provide reasonable and necessary maintenance.
Accessory Parts
All other dome accessory parts such as doors, windows are warranted for 2 years pro-rated, under the same conditions as described above for the dome cover.
This warranty is for the original purchaser only, and non-transferrable. Please contact us directly to initiate a warranty claim.

Packaging and Handling Details
We want to ensure that your dome is delivered to you in the best possible condition. Therefore, we carefully package each dome in 1-2 crates, with the dimensions and weight varying based on the size of the dome and any add-on options you have selected. Please keep in mind that a forklift is required to move the crate, but if you choose to open the crate, the items inside can be moved by two people. The cover is guaranteed for 10-15 years. The high-grade plywood frame is designed for 10-30+ years of use with proper care. You can rely on this pod/dome to provide dependable shelter through any season. With a temperature range of -40° to 158°F, it suits various environments - from backyard guest house to wilderness structures.
Snow Load: supports up to 16 psf of snow load, suitable for areas with light to moderate snowfall. If you're looking for structures with higher snow load. Our geodesic dome models offer higher snow load capacity up to 65 psf, ideal for heavy snow zones.
Wind Load: 62 mph
Engineering report and stamping services: we offer engineering report and stamping services to help you obtain the necessary permits and approvals for your pod/dome project. If you place a deposit and purchase a pod/dome from us, we will provide the engineering report free of charge, and stamping fee will be charged separately ($500). If you want the report before placing a deposit, we charge a fee of $600. However, if you end up purchasing the pod/dome, we will deduct $600 from the pod/dome price.

Can you leave the unit up all year round and is it suitable to stay in all year round?
Yes, the Artemis Pod/Dome is designed to be left up year-round and used as a permanent shelter. The materials are suitable for a wide temperature range from -40°F to 158°F, making it ideal for year-round use with proper insulation.
How can I keep the pod/dome cozy inside?
Adding an insulation liner is essential to trap heat inside during winter. A stove, radiant floor heating or AC unit can also help maintain a comfortable temperature year-round.
Do I need a permit for this structure?
Permit requirements vary by location and intended use. Check with your local building department to determine if a permit is needed. We can provide an engineering report and stamping for an additional cost if required.
What are some tips for taking care of my pod/dome?
Clean the cover every 6 months to prevent dirt buildup. Inspect for signs of wear. Brush out window pockets and the base to remove debris. Use a garden hose, mild soap solution and soft brush. Avoid solvents and high-pressure cleaners to prevent damage.
If I purchase a stove from you, will there be an opening for it in the dome?
Yes, we can provide an opening for the stove to ensure proper ventilation and safety.
What are the options for electricity and water in the dome?
The options for electricity and water in the pod/dome can vary based on your location and the intended use of the dome. It's best to consult a local professional for details and recommendations.
How does the windows and insulation work together?
All windows are pre-cut to fit properly with the insulation liner, ensuring no gaps for heat to escape. Both the insulation liner and integrated window sunshades can be rolled up to close the window for energy efficiency and privacy. When both are rolled up, they work together to trap warm or cool air inside. When both are rolled down, the window fully opens to reveal/show the view outside.
How can I ensure that the dome is completely waterproof?
The cover, windows, skylight and door are waterproof. The Artemis pod/dome also comes with a floor tarp that attaches to the bottom frame using velcro tape. The bottom frame is slightly elevated from the ground, about 1 inch. Together, the waterproof components and elevated frame with attached floor tarp make the pod/dome completely waterproof and sealed.
How can I prevent small animals and insects from getting into the dome?
The floor tarp that attaches to the elevated bottom frame helps prevent small animals and insects from gaining access to the pod/dome. With the floor tarp securely fastened to the frame, it creates a sealed barrier that most creatures cannot infiltrate.
Can Artemis Pod/Dome be used for commercial purposes?
Yes, Artemis Pod/Dome are versatile and can be used for a variety of commercial purposes such as event venues, greenhouses, and even as office spaces.
Can I build a Artemis Pod/Dome myself, or do I need a professional builder?
Artemis Pod/Dome are straightforward to build and do not require specialist skills or tools. All you need is a firm, flat base. However, if you are not confident in your ability to build a pod/dome on your own, it is recommended to hire a professional builder to ensure that the dome is constructed safely and efficiently.
How long does it take to assemble a pod/dome?
The time it takes to assemble a pod/dome can vary depending on the size of the unit and the expertise of the builders. On average, a 16.4ft dome can be assembled in 1-2 days, while a 20ft x 46ft pod may take up to 4-5 days to assemble.
What are the onsite requirements?
The pod/dome requires a firm, flat base like a wood deck, concrete slab or lawn. They can then be anchored using ground anchors, expansion bolts or bearing plates depending on the ground surface. We’ll provide the right fixing methods.
Does it require specific maintenance?
Regular maintenance includes cleaning the cover every 6 months to prevent dirt buildup, inspecting for signs of wear, and brushing out window pockets and the base. Avoid solvents and high-pressure cleaners to prevent damage.
Can the unit(s) be easily moved to another location?
